Allison Williams

Allison Howell Williams is an American actor and producer. She was born on the 13th of April, 1988. Williams has been described as"a "horror queen" by the media for her film-making work in the horror genre. Her debut role was Marnie in HBO's comedy-drama Girls (2012-17) which for which she won an Critics' Choice Award. In 2017, she was in the running for both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her performance in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage earned her a breakthrough. Williams went on to appear in the films of horror, The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022), the latter of which she co-produced. Williams was raised and born in New Canaan (Connecticut), being the daughter of former Nightly anchor and managing editor Brian Williams, and television producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. She also has one brother. Williams went to New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. Williams later went on to Yale University majoring in English as well as being a member of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. When she was in New Canaan, Williams worked in a Ralph Lauren outlet store. Williams was a member for four seasons of Just Add Water, an comedy troupe. Williams also appeared in College Musical on YouTube. The show starred Sam Tsui and was directed by Kurt Hugo Schneider, both of whom attended Yale. She earned her diploma in English in 2010.
