JenniferJennifer was always hoping to become a multitasking superstar. Jennifer was a lover of diverse music styles when she was a child, and particularly Afro-Caribbean dances like merengue, salsa, and the bachata. In her later years, her top genres were popular pop, R&B as well as hip-hop. Music was her passion, but she was equally fascinated by the film industry. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was the most influential film for her. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was also an entertainer as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, attended 8 years at Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After completing the four-year course at the school, she was able to graduate from Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer was a star athlete during her time at school, and was a champion in track and field and tennis. At Castle Hill, she spent her early years in a two-story house. Jennifer quit her parents' house at age 18 and moved out. Lopez worked as a lawyer during the time, and was also taking dance classes at night.
